Vet-In-Training

Hey, my name is Viola - although you can call me any number of things really and I'll answer. Vi, Vet, V, etc.
I would consider myself an artist - but I don't think I can create the quality of art yet to really share with you guys, or at least I can't sell it yet. I am working towards becoming a better artist with drawing mainly. I can't shade worth a darn - so I'm attempting to learn that as soon as I can. I'm fairly decent at creating outlines and sketching...it's the colored shading that always gets me.

Medium wise...I'm all over the board.
Drawing: Digital, Pen, Pencil, Colored Pencils
Painting: A big acrylics fan - although I'm thinking about testing my luck out with pastels.
Sculpting: HUGE fan of the mineral based clay (not sue what it's called...we make it with a combination of ingredients).
I do some photo-manipulation.
Oh! And how could I forget? I'm a writer too, although I haven't practiced in a while.

Really - I'm up for trying anything. I love working with my hands and I love trying new things. Hopefully once I get good enough...I'll be able to do commissions! Wouldn't that be neat??

Other things about myself: I love the farm life. I have horses, cats, dogs, chickens, and I am kind to any and all the wildlife that shows up on our land. I am in love with any and every critter imaginable - animals fascinate me more than I can ever really explain and they truly make life worth living.

I am currently in school on my way to completing my undergraduate degree. From there I plan to attend Veterinary Medicine school.
